Prepare for a scare: A sneak peek into Dark Corner Haunted House

RN&R Photo Editor David Robert went behind the scenes of Dark Corner Haunted House and found a team of local actors and artists with opulently detailed makeup, props and costumes, ready to deliver a full-service fright. Holly Spahr, known for her immersive art exhibitions at venues such as the Potentialist Workshop, is a co-owner and lead artist.

Dark Corner takes place at the National Bowling Stadium, 300 University Way in downtown Reno. Hours are 6 p.m. to midnight Oct. 13-14, 19-21, 26-28, and 31. General admission tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door. VIP tickets are $50 in advance, $60 at the door. Tickets and information here.
